Wrestling is like no other sport. It's entirely based on violence. Because of it's nature of violence there always has been and always will be injuries that are sustained by the unlucky which will not heal to a level that allows the person to continue in this sport. Unfortunately, The Mauler has caused a number of athletes to retire from this sport due to his immense power and skill. The Mauler has dedicated this area to those who have fallen before him and could not get back up.
